Serves 4 to 6
Drain about half of the liquid from the garbanzo beans, then pour the beans into a blender or food processor. Add tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper and pulse several times until all of the beans are creamed and the ingredients are well-blended. Pour into a large serving bowl. Stir in Organico Bello Spicy Marinara pasta sauce, ½ cup at a time. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Serve with chips, bread, and fresh veggies and adjust seasoning as desired.
NOTE: You can substitute homemade hummus for your favorite, plain store-bought brand, then stir in Organico Bello pasta sauce.
